“HANDEL DELIGHTS” – A Musical Evening Stroll With Handel

Treadam Barn and gardens will be transformed into a typical 18th Century Pleasure Garden.
Enjoy a stroll and welcome drink to highlights from Handel’s Water Music, before taking a seat in your “Box” (round tables seating 10) in the Barn. Canapés will be served at your table whilst popular scenes, arias, duets, choruses and dances from GF Handel’s operas and oratorios are performed in costume with chamber ensemble.
Soloists include Peter Wilman (WNO), Louise Lloyd (Musetta in the award winning “La Bohème” in London) and we showcase the young Welsh Countertenor Callum Rees.
After the interval Katharine Hogg-Chief Librarian of the Gerald Coke Handel Collection in London-will give a brief talk followed by excerpts from the Foundling Hospital Anthem.
The Handel Opera Society of London’s production archives with also be on display.
